Shaping/rounding of the spokes continues using a lower speed air-driven QC7 handpiece. Alternating between high speed and lower speed air tools is continued until all spokes are properly shaped and aged.
These electrical tools are used for initial shaping of larger pieces (i.e. shoe at right). They cut at a very aggressive pace and remove large amounts of wood rapidly. The air-driven tools are then used for greater detail.
